Stuperintendent LaBeaver was visiting the Chemistry Lab at Smellport High.
In an attempt to impress the students
with his "knowledge and expertise"
Stuperintendent LaBeaver told the
teacher he was going to take over
the class and demonstrate how to make
some potassium hydroxide solution.
His plan was to drop a large lump of
potassium into a large beaker of water.
The Chemistry Teacher observing what Stuperintendent
LaBeaver was about to do and hurried over. After
confirming this was what was intended, he asked
Stuperintendent LaBeaver to first to stir the water in the
beaker for five minutes before adding the potassium.
Puzzled, Stuperintendent LaBeaver followed after
him to ask the purpose of this action.
"It will give the class time to run and take cover
before the explosion," said the teacher.
