SCREA Membership and Dues


 

 

Why pay SCREA Dues:

    SCREA yearly dues are needed to be replenished the treasury. The funds collected are used to cover:

1.      SCREA dues  pay for all SCREA related mailings

2.      SCREA dues pay the costs associated with our annual memorial scholarships. Separate individual contributions are used solely to pay for the scholarship awards.

3.      SCREA dues pay all miscellaneous costs of administering the organization

4.      SCREA dues pay the miscellaneous costs associated with our annual luncheon

5.      No Cost: All SCREA officers and committee persons are unpaid volunteers.

6.      No Cost: Jim Mc gowan maintains the SCREA web site at no charge

7.      SCREA dues pay a quarterly fee to have our website hosted on the internet. This service is used to keep you abreast of current happenings, both good and sad.

8.      SCREA dues pay a yearly fee for the domain screa.org

9.      SCREA dues pay a yearly fee for the domain screanews.us

10     SCREA dues pay a yearly fee for the email address (mcweb@bellport.net) associated with our website

11    SCREA dues pay a yearly fee for the licensing for programs needed to maintain the website

This Year’s scholarship recipients were:

·         Jack Burkhardt-attending Ithaca College 

·         Gavin Antos-attending St. Joseph’s College 

·         Taylor Kelly-attending State University of New York, Fredonia 

 

Each scholarship is in the amount of $1500
