"It takes all types of critters, to make Farmer Vincent's fritters"

MOTEL HELL is one of the funniest horror movies ever made.  In it, Rory Calhoun plays a farmer who's famous around the area for his great tasting meat snacks and jerky treats.  Unfortunately, the hapless teens in the movie that stumble across their hotel MOTEL HELLO (that unfortunately has a letter "O" that doesn't light up very well...first warning), find out that the secret ingredient is about to be THEM! (and I'm not talking about giant ants, either).

Farmer Vincent prides himself for great natural beef snacks, but needs human flesh to mix in to give it that special taste (not unlike THE ULTIMATE CHEESEBURGER from JACK IN THE BOX).  But Vincent is no Leatherface, haplessly hacking folks up at a moment's notice.  Nope, he takes pride in his work by carefully burying his future meat stick donors in the ground up to their neck, removing their voice box, and letting them ripen up before they're used.  I know this sounds cruel, but it's not as bad as how they make veal.

The high point of the film is the climactic fight scene where Vincent dons a pig head and goes down in a wicked chainsaw fight.  His dying words, he comes clean with his hypocrisy that he used....gasp!  PRESERVATIVES!

Do yourself a favor and check out this gem of a film.  You'll be glad you did.
